Job Description

Seeking a full-time House Manager/Personal Assistant to oversee daily household operations and provide dedicated, hands-on support for a warm and welcoming private family in Philadelphia is. Working closely with the family’s primary assistant and engaging directly with the family, this role ensures seamless day-to-day functioning across multiple residences in Philadelphia and Puerto Rico. You will act as a central point of coordination and a key partner within an established, collaborative support team. Experienced candidates encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle light household tasks such as grocery shopping, stocking supplies, ironing sheets, making beds, and general daily touch-ups (deep cleaning is handled by a housekeeper).
  • Assist with move-in needs, such as overseeing furniture deliveries, coordinating vendors, and ensuring the apartments remain organized and guest-ready.
  • Serve as the day-to-day household point person for the family.
  • Coordinate family scheduling, appointments, and reservations (dinners, travel, personal errands, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with the family’s staff to manage calendars, communicate updates, and maintain seamless operations.
  • Support travel planning and logistics between Philadelphia and Puerto Rico.
  • Serve as on-call support when needed, with flexibility to adjust hours based on the family’s schedule or urgent needs.
  • Provide a polished, professional presence while maintaining warmth, reliability, and discretion.

Qualifications

  • Career experience in private service, household management, or personal assistant roles.
  • Ability to act in a calm, pleasant, and professional manner, with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Must be highly organized with strong communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable working closely with a team of assistants and adapting to evolving family needs.
  • Must be receptive to feedback, and able to maintain boundaries and work-life balance.
  • Must be a flexible, dependable, and solutions oriented individual.
