Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Chemistry

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 13+ weeks (Possible extension based on performance)

Estimated Start Date: 3 weeks upon offer

Pay Rate: $60 – $62 per hour

Schedule: 35 hours per week (8x5 shift schedule)

Shifts: All shifts available — highest need: Evening and Night

Weekends/Holidays: Required (rotating as needed)

Interview Type: In-person or Webex

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with a strong Chemistry background to join our laboratory team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing and analyzing chemical laboratory tests within an acute or clinical setting to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of chemical analyses and laboratory tests following established procedures and quality standards.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment in compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Document and report laboratory findings in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with medical and technical staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Valid Clinical Laboratory Technologist license issued by NYSED (New York State Education Department).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting.
• Specialty: Strong Chemistry background required .
• Availability: Willing to work evening and night shifts as primary coverage; all shifts available.
• Interviews: Must be available for in-person or Webex interviews .

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay: $60 – $62/hour
• Weekly pay schedule
• Opportunity for contract extension based on performance
