The Role

We’re hiring a Software Engineer (AI / Platform) to help build the core systems behind OpenVenture’s immigration intelligence platform. You’ll design backend and data infrastructure that powers automation, eligibility prediction, and personalized user support for people navigating the U.S. immigration system.

Responsibilities

• Build backend microservices and APIs for OpenVenture’s immigration platform.
• Design scalable data pipelines integrating government, legal, and partner systems.
• Collaborate with data and legal teams to automate complex immigration workflows.
• Implement AI-powered services for document parsing and personalized recommendations.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and compliance across our infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend or platform engineering experience.
• Experience at Amazon or similar large-scale environment preferred.
• Strong in Python, Go, or Java.
• Proficient with AWS or GCP; experience with distributed systems.
• Familiarity with NLP, ML APIs, or data automation a plus.
